We care about the planet
At UPC, we’ve always done everything possible in the design and manufacture of our products to ensure they have minimal impact on the environment. Our products are made with recycled materials and are also recyclable at end of life. UPC engineers use reclaimed plastics from our own manufacturing processes to make our products – moving us one step closer to becoming a zero waste manufacturing facility.
Why do we care?
- Making new products with recycled plastics requires 66% less energy than using raw plastic materials
- Using recycled plastic can reduce total energy consumption by up to 88%
- For every one ton of plastic recycled, the equivalent of 1,000 to 2,000 gallons of gasoline is saved
