VERSATILE
Popular among architects and contractors, this material can be used for installation in new and retrofit applications. It is ideal for installation in compressor and generator housing to block the machine noise.
FLEXIBLE
Uniquely formulated to combine a dense, flexible layer of protection with a fibrous insulation layer to provide additional comfort to the spaces where it’s installed
MOISTURE CONTROL
Acts as an air and moisture barrier to resist mold and mildew, which helps maintain good air quality and improve HVAC efficiency
ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE
Made from POE (polyolefin elastomer) and does not contain plasticizers or unsafe chemicals

HEAVY-DUTY SOUND PROTECTION
VERSATILE
Special applications of dB3 MAX include installation over existing walls and covering with a layer of drywall to create a simple sound wall. Lining covers of compressors and industrial equipment to reduce vibrations and noise.
FLEXIBLE
Polyolefin used in many products that require flexibility like catheter tubing and connectors, footwear, toys, milk carton coatings, food packaging, etc.
This ensures that the dB3 products are not only flexible enough to be effective, but long-lasting as well.
MOISTURE CONTROL
dB3 is considered an impermeable material as it allows only minute amount of water to pass through. The perm rating is less than .004. A material is considered impermeable with a perm rating of .1 perm or less.
Add a layer of moisture protection as well as sound damping to your walls with dB3 products.
ECO-FRIENDLY ATTRIBUTES
Unlike PVC MLV, our POE does not harden over time or pose health risk if burned
AMERICAN MADE
dB3 MAX mass components including the calcium carbonate and the Polyolefin elastomer are mined and manufactured in the US. The finished product is made in our facility in Mt. Airy, North Carolina.
